Thanks to Radio Actor Rush Limbaugh and his long-time partner Sean Hannity, the GOP is on its last legs. These two rightwing extremists are the mouthpieces of a falling party. The more they rant and rave on the air, the worse it gets for the GOP.

Behind close doors, a small percentage of Republicans have said that Limbaugh and Hannity are destroying the party. I know a few Republicans who told me that unless the GOP distance themselves from these two loons, the party will self-destruct in 2012.

The GOP has lost its credibility in 2006 and 2008. Look at it now. A bunch of sorry clowns out of touch with Americans. That’s why they lost so badly. Also, this party rather cater to the Limbaughs and Hannitys than the voters. These two loons’ opinion matters more to the GOP than ours.

The sinking GOP ship

An NBC/Wall Street Journal poll this past week put Republican popularity at near historic lows. Just 26 percent in the survey viewed the party positively, compared with 68 percent for President Barack Obama, despite the economic crisis and sharp GOP criticism of his $3.8 trillion budget plan.
