Is Andy S In Colorado An Asshole Or Not An Asshole?
The light has dawned on all but a few users at Daily Kos that Kos has allowed the Kos Kops to destroy his site. It has dawned on people that Majorflaw, bottles/condoleaser, trashablanca, mbnyc, bouwerie boy, and musing85 are utter scum and are the 6 main ordinary culprits of the sewage and filth at Daily Kos. They are of course assisted by Kos himself, MissLaura, BarbinMd, ScoutFinch, Dhinmi, and possibly Hunter.
But the 6 major pieces of excrement have a small band of thugs who come together to assist them. (Keep in mind that this whole group is not even 1% of all users at the site.) Dadanation uprates as a last resort. Paintykat always looks for a person's lowest moment and then tries to get the cruelest digs in. Browneyes is a republican troll who is playing Daily Kos for suckers. He's good at it too. Well played browneyes sir. tecampbell and taylormattd are guilty as sin but know they are wrong. Elise will defend Daily Kos no matter what. Sberel has no integrity. DemocraticLuntz is just a prick as is volvodriving liberal and truth of angels. Ahianne and als10 also join the bullies.

I guess my point, if I have a point (because I haven't really gotten one from you thus far) is that it is not necessary to take issue with certain things HERE to get other things across. And as far as that goes, to each his or her own.
What seemingly cannot be communicated is that every blog is owned by somebody and that blogs have a choice to have rules that are stricter or less strict as the case may be. It accomplishes absolutely NOTHING to try to change Kos' system to suit some other purpose because it is HIS blog. Nothing except to annoy other users who try in good faith to fulfill their role with the auxillary purpose to which they are entrusted.
And IF I can get certain points across to the people here, I am going to try. In the absence of all other meta, I am going to do my best, to the degree that my real life lets me. If Daily Kos itself were overtly hostile to GLBT issues (which is my unapologetic function here as I see it) to being expressed, you can bet your bippy I'd be on some other blog screaming about it. Not about the people just doing what they do here.
It may be some people's opinion that Daily Kos is overly restrictive to some other political points of view and to the effect that they wish to scream about that on some other blog, I certainly wish them all the best. Again, as to the site and the issues, not the people.
I've read some of your other posts. Some of the people you have taken issue with, I have, at other times, too.
But again, to be honest, and it's just my opinion, you're overall on the wrong side in any meta war that is going on.
Because my life doesn't need to be an educational experience for someone else. (-6.62, -6.26)

Andy S In Colorado has been part of this clique for a long time. If you are having doubts, say so. The evidence is right in front of you, there in the words of the Kos Kop. You know the truth by now regardless of what you think of me. The only question is, "Are you an asshole or not an asshole?" Because if you uprate these thugs in the future, then you are, indeed an asshole.

I have no problem with a private blog owner setting rules. Jack's rules for example were no outings and that he was the decider. he stated that upfront. He determined I broke his rules. I disagree with his interpretation but I was under no illusions. Jack made it clear.
As for posting here, I've made it clear. I'll decide to delete something if I deem it inappropriate. That has happened in rare instances but there are no illusions.
Kos has created a bunch of rules for his site. The Kos Kops break them every day while their critics usually do not. We see personal attacks by Kos Kops get 10-12 recs and then someone who points it out civilly get troll rated.
If Kos wants to publicly say that the rules of his site are as follows:
1. You may be banned for any reason or no reason at all on the whim of an administrator: and
2. If Major Flaw or a Kos Kop wants you banned, you will be no matter how nice you are or how liberal you are.
Guess what? These are the REAL rules of what is going on at the site. Kos should at least be honest and update his FAQ to reflect that. Believe it or not, I have no problems with him making rules. I do have a problem when the stated rules and the application of those rules are two very different worlds.
Oh you can respond here by the way and defend yourself or offer a rebuttal to my points if you disagree with them. I don't have a problem with dissenting views.

Excellent as usual.Now that the heat is one they are running scared. they mention you and FSZ right in their comments at kos allowing someone who wants to research the clues to do so and get here. They have been stupid for so long they don't know the difference anymore. I commend you as it is more important to commend the good as rail against the evil.

They are definitely scared for two big reasons:
1. 75% of their viewers have left since October and
2. The majority of people remaining see what's going on.
I said back on October 6 that most users at Daily Kos were good people. That's still true.
I also have trust in people. Sure one can look back and find mistakes made here and there by all of us, myself included.
I observed the same strategies they used with other people they intended to discredited. It was all the same. I knew full well what they were going to do and knew exactly how to counter it. And when my plan worked (i.e. make them think I was sockpuppeting when the truth was that I wasn't at all) it exposed the simple truth - that the Kos Kops will go after almost everybody at some point because that is what their lives are about.
NOw people can come here and check or go to other sites (Like FSZ which I obviously don't always agree with how they do things) and the truth about then gets out. The fact that most of the people there had a chance to meet me in person, that I was one of the top 10 diarists, helps. The smears of the Kos Kops don't match up with people's experiences and this is to my advantage.
Most normal users at Daily Kos can think for themselves. Surely they won't agree with me 100% of the time but they can evaluate each claim on its own merits and not fall for the Kos propaganda of trying to paint too broad a brush.
When they see people like "Barbara Morrill aka barbinmd" state that they don't ban people for what they do at other sites and then start banning people b/c they type at FSZ, regular users catch on.
When they see administration say one day that if you out people you will be banned and then are given prove that bottles/Lloyd Lachow outed people at Daily Kos and then see Clawson come in and say that there is a 4 months statute of limitation and not ban him while they ban Lauren S two days later for something she supposedly did 8 months ago, they get it.
