Blackwater has been kicked out of Iraq. Maybe their executives can run Gitmo, from the inside with no way out.
Freshman Congressman Alan Grayson gets a DFQ shoutout. This is definitely the quote of the month.
“Rush Limbaugh is a has-been hypocrite loser, who craves attention. His right-wing lunacy sounds like Mikhail Gorbachev, extolling the virtues of communism. Limbaugh actually was more lucid when he was a drug addict. If America ever did 1% of what he wanted us to do, then we’d all need pain killers.”
That is how you do it Democrats. As one commenter in the thread noted, "Hammer the scum."
Republicans are gathering for a meeting to try to determine how to sell dog shit (conservatism) as filet mignon. Remember one of DFQ's absolute truisms. Conservatism has always failed, conservatism always will fail. The philosophy is antonymous to human nature, common sense, and real life practicalities.
This is your George Bush military. Suicide rates in the army are at a 28 year high. It's because most Republicans treat men and women in the military like horse manure but the "liberal media" which doesn't really exist will never tell you that.
Neo Nazi and unrepentant fascist Sean Hannity is reviving his 2008 smears and again claiming Obama is a Muslim. With Handy Hannity the face of conservatism in exile, we will never have to worry about losing power.
Dennis Miller is still trying to be funny. I think he has a better chance of completing the NYC Marathon in under an hour than he does of telling a joke that could actually make most people laugh.
Cardinal Mahony in Los Angeles is being investigated for his role in another priests who molest children schedule. My question is this, "Is there a big name conservative cardinal in America who has NOT been involved in a molestation scandal?" I can't think of one.
While not all conservatives abuse children and not all liberals are saints, there is no denying the fact that the ideology of conservatism is astronomically more likely to breed these kinds of people than the philosophy of liberalism.
It is still cold outside.
When I brought my Randall Terry video to Keith Olbermann's producers three months ago, they looked up my name and associated me with Daily Kos. (I'm proud not to be part of them) I was told straight out by Olbermann's producers that they will not accept materials (before they even looked at it) from Daily Kos diarists (This is the only blemish on Olbermann's record for he posts there to promote himself while his show off the record considers Daily Kos to be excrement) because they were burned twice before by Daily Kos (dhonig and Stark). Note the video ended up with Max Blumenthal eventually although others were intermediaries who shall never be named. Yesterday they actually had a diary on the rec list which said a Kossack was up for an Obama administration official without actually reading the article. There were two candidates, neither a Kossack but a third guy basically yelling from a street corner saying he would do the job for free. It's crap analysis like this from Swing State on Senate races which shows why these amateurs who know diddly are not taken seriously by anybody outside their circle jerk. Given I predicted every Senate race in 2006 and 2008 correctly, including that George would have a runoff, I've earned the right to be taken seriously on Senate analysis. So I'll do a preliminary Senate analysis right here.
The toughest hold for Democrats will be Harry Reid in Nevada. 50-50 he loses as of right now. If Burris is primaried out in Illinois by anyone credible, we hold Illinois easily. If it's Burris, it's a dogfight. Colorado looks good right now for Democrats with Bennett. The GOP has no front tier candidate and I think they'll nominate John Elway who is a prick in every which way. I think Florida slightly leans Democratic right now. In Kansas, it is an open seat. If our nominee is Sebelius we are favored to win. If it is anyone else, we probably lose. Iowa is also in play. Obama can help tremendously here. If Grassley retires this seat is ours. In Pennsylvania, the real Snarlin Arlen will come to light. This is a tossup right now. If they primary Arlen out with Toomey, we win hands down. We also could take out Gregg in New Hampshire and Burr in North Carolina. The wild card is Texas. The state is trending blue, the GOP down there is unpopular and it's an open seat. We have the better bench. This is a tossup right now. We can also take out Vitter in Louisiana if you run a DFQ style campaign and hammer him on his hypocrisy. Ohio leans our way right now. Missouri leans slightly republican. Hawaii could be problematic if Inouye retires and Lingel runs as the Republican. See not that hard to do.

As long as Limbaugh, Hannity, Coulter, Levin, Cunningham, Ingraham and Malkin continue to speak on behalf of the Republican Party, they will continue to lose seats. The GOP is between a rock and a hardplace. If they denounce the Conservative side of their party, they will lose seats. If they support the Conservative side of their party, they will lose seats.
