Today is a joyous day for me and tens of millions of Americans.  We did it.  Yes we did.

While I sit in awe of Obama and marvel at his coolness, his poise, his inner strength, and the center-left progressive values that he stands for along with the pragmatic acumen to implement most of it, let's take a moment to reflect back.  How did you help?

For me this was my most active presidential campaign ever.  What did I do?

1.  I foresaw ahead of time that Sean Hannity was going to be the leading spokesperson of the GOP candidate in the media.  Along with others, names you will not know, we formulated a strategy back in mid-2007 to use Hannity as a turnoff.  My work in exposing his scam concerts and the bookstore incident forever rendered Hannity moot.  Yes we did.

2.  Who first exposed that McCain's town halls were farces by actually showing up instead of screeching from a keyboard?  Yes that was me in Pemberton, NJ back in June. Yes I did.

3.  Who wrote one of the most even tempered and best explanations of why Obama over Hillary in the primary season right before Super Tuesday?  Yes I did.

4.  Who gathered more research about Sarah Palin in 24 hours than McCain did in 24 weeks and then spent all weekend going all over the Internet to help frame her in the way she needed to be framed?  Yes I did.

Those were my bigger achievements but there were many more.

5.  Of the 6 hard core Hillary primary voters in my family, none voted for McCain in the primary.  5 voted Obama.
6.  I helped convince friends, ex classmates, and colleagues, many of whom voted republican, to actually vote for Obama.  Some were first time voters.
7.  In the final weeks I explained how Obama rejected a certain extremist element in the Democratic Party and this talking point helped sway undecideds and moderates. 
8.  I voted.  I always do in Presidential elections.

Now each of you did something.  Some of you did more than me, some less but you all contributed.  Celebrate.  Yes we did.
