Hannity's Censoring Of Ann Coulter Scandal Broadens
Yesterday we learned that Sean Hannity directed Ann Coulter that she was not to go on the radio show of conservative talk show host Steve Malzberg on WOR. Malzberg competes with WABC, the flagship station of the Sean Hannity show. Coulter sent Malzberg an email telling Malzberg that Hannity won't let her go on the show. In fact Hannity does this with other guests.
Hannity is denying this. Other conservative hosts know he's lying about this. Malzberg has the email.
Why is Hannity lying? It's because guests are a revenue generator. If the same guests will go on other show, it dilutes the power of that guest. Right wing talk radio is getting clobbered right now in the marketplace. They're losing money. Advertisers can't afford them in this Bush economy. Hannity thinks that allowing Coulter on other shows will cost him money so he's pulling a power play. But he's pissed off a lot of conservative talk show hosts. They know, although they won't say, what a scumbag he is as well. Time for them to monitor their own. As a liberal I love it when Hannity is the voice of conservatism of exile. It means a permanent majority.

I'm not surprised by the number of conservatives that hate Hannity's guts. They realize him to be a fraud just like I do. You earn DFQ points with me for that. Truth is important. I know people who are good people who agree with me on virtually nothing and I know bad people who agree with me on most everything. Never let political ideology blind you. Truth, always truth.

In my humble opinion, ever since the Hannity-Palin interviews, other conservative talk radio hosts (except Hannity's friends) are beginning to realize that Hannity is a threat to their livelihood. He manages to snag big names before they are able to. He has friends (through Newt, Ailes and others)who help him get these guests.
Other conservative talk hosts are beginning to address their concerns publicly.
