I do agree with Cometman that outing someones personal info should carry the death penalty(blog wise).  This will not end well.  Dave's went off the deep end and we all know that.  However, Dave has Ided himself as a (redacted by me) and wages that type of battle against the KosKops.  I do not care for them, but I am educated and passive and would do nothing in the real world.

Now, you can find out who these people are, if you look.  I was raised a country boy in the South and I tell you there are some crazy sons of bitches out there.  These folks belittle lots of people almost everyday.  Someday one of these crazy people is going to go KosKop hunting and not on the internet.  Then what--it'll be too late.


First, I can't please everybody.  There are many at freespeechzone that I don't like. It's as simple as that. Some are former Kos Kops who still have the same mentality.  Some are former victims of the Kos Kops who have had their families and real life jobs threatened by the Kos Kops. I completely sympathize with these victims. I draw the line when these same people thought that the way to get the Kos Kops off their back was to pile on to me.  To me that makes them cowards although if the Kos Kops did try to mess with their families, I'd still have their chickenshit backs and I'd still offer my support.

Second, Dave has never Ided himself other than a blogger from Queens, NY. I mention I'm an attorney and a teacher and I am both but as for the attorney part, I only mention it as a disclaimer that nothing I say is ever to be taken as legal advice. I don't advertise my job.  As for the claim that I am a "liberal attorney" that's bullshit.  I have never made an ideological claim to my profession.  There are no ideological litmus tests in my work.  NONE. 

Third, outing of people is wrong 99.99% of the time.  That includes linking to obscure articles from an obscure magazine from several years ago about me.  That includes posting my real life initials at DailyKos.  That includes linking to my family or workplace.  All of this shit was done by the Kos Kops with the support of Kos and his administrators. 

Four, I have no problem posting the real life names and cities where they live (I've never posted their addresses) of each of the Kos Kops who has supported the outing of real life information on the Internet of different people.  Nor do I have a problem posting the real life name of Barbara "Morrill" and city in which she lives for she has actively supported these sick bullies from the get-go.  This is a point of hot contention for some.  Fair enough.  I will tell you that I've blogged on the Internet for almost 10 years and the only exceptions I've ever made to outing real life info was when Hannity and Levin advocated it of me and when the Kos Kops did it to me.  For 9 years, I never posted any persons' real life info so obviously I must have felt real strong about this that I would do something I never did for 9 years, in fact never in my entire life.

Five - Many of the people complaining about how I am going about this overlook the fact that few have done a better job of exposing what's actually going on at DailyKos than me. In some instances, those criticizing me are simply envious because I have DONE what you wish you COULD HAVE done but NEVER did do.  Yes I state this arrogantly without any pretense of modesty.

Six, how do you solve the problem?  Kos has had hundreds if not thousands of opportunities to address it but instead of doing so, he digs his own grave deeper by continuing on with his Milgram Studies and Stanford Prison Experiment. Once again, several good Democrats got punished this week while the Kos Kop bullying continues on.

Seven, I'm not responsible for what actually off the deep end people do in real life.  The Kos Kops have thousands of enemies.  As deedogg correctly pointed out in the comment, "these people belittle lots of people almost everyday."  YES THEY DO.  How do you stop this? Here's a novel thought.  If these individuals (majorflaw, bottles/condoleaser, trashablanca, mbnyc, musing85, dadanation, volvodrivingliberal, bouwerieboy, misslaura, dhinmi, barbinmd, scoutfinch, and Kos) don't mistreat others, they won't be mistreated.

Eight, how do you solve this mess?  It's very simple.  A)  You ban every single Kos Kop.  They've broken your site rules literally about 50,000 times. Not that hard to justify.  B)  You demote your four out of control administrators so that they don't officially speak for the site.  C)  You apologize and make it clear that you made some big mistakes and that you want to correct them.  D)  You find a go between (plenty of people) who gets "my crowd," the FSZ crowd, the peeder crowd, etc... and you work it out.
