Daily Kos' Laura Clawson - A Horrible Human Being

There are few people in the blogosphere or in politics who are as low or as nasty as Laura Clawson, who blogs at Daily Kos under the pseudonym of MissLaura.  Clawson also has a local New Hampshire blog and works in a perfunctory role for an organization that would disown her in 60 seconds if they became aware of some of the comments she has made.  I will reveal some of those comments herein.

Clawson is the only white female I've ever encountered who actually epitomizes every single negative stereotype that people have of the "wealthy, white liberal."  She's effete, snobbish, doesn't have a caring bone in her body, and she's all for liberalism from afar but never up close.

Clawson, a/k/a Miss Laura got called out big time for her racism at Yearly Kos 2007 when she basically claimed that the reason why blacks don't blog (untrue) is because they are poor, uneducated, and can't afford computers.

Clawson and the Kos crowd actually never wanted Obama and MissLaura used to attack Obama.  Here in early January of 2008 Clawson can't support Obama but can't give the real reason why. (His race)  She says:

"I've gone to a lot of events here in New Hampshire and have seen Obama up close. I myself have been struggling to get a handle on him -- how to fit with him, what the excitement around his candidacy means."

In the same article you can see Kos bashing Obama for "embracing a right wing talking point." Of course Kos bashed Obama back in 2007 for caving to Bush.  Make no mistake, Kos doesn't like Obama and Obama dumped Daily Kos a long time ago.

Here Clawson is downright cruel as she supports Armando Llorens (Big Ten Democrat) vicious attacks on a woman by saying that she probably has no husband or life after the woman had talked movingly about her husband in the past.  Of course this is the same Armando Llorens that MissLaura admits was a Kos Kop or "troll hunter."  Clawson writes:

Armando was the one who was an ardent troll-hunter.  DH rarely rates, much less troll-rating, and does not typically encourage others to do so.  DH argues, sure, he's not gentle in an argument, and you're free to dislike him immensely.  But he does not resort to extensive accusations of trollery as Armando very frequently did.    by MissLaura on Sat May 19, 2007 at 10:23:18 PM PST

But if you want an insight into the disgusting creature that is  Laura Clawson (comment 84) then look no further than this comment in which she celebrates the notion that she would cruelly bully a girl in the "high track" classes.

Oh, we were just vicious to this girl

who liked New Kids on the Block. Also she was a natural victim, but NKOTB was the target.

At the time she was in the highest track of classes. I ran into her years later and I think she might not even have graduated high school? Anyway, definitely no college, and working at the grocery store. Major guilt there for me. At least it was a union grocery store.

And one wonders why this thing sleeps with 10 cats.  A totally disgusting person.  Any political candidate or organization that associates itself with this thing deserves not an ounce of support from the rest of us.

    You're so right. (0+ / 0-)
While we're at it, someone needs to clarify whether Obama's goals include a return to widespread cannibalism. I mean, there's no indication of that, but hey: we know nothing, and speculation without actual info is a great thing.

Warning: this comment may contain sarcasm or satire.

Hollister California pursues the technique of "walking self-marketing",hollister uk,hollister2, where in wearing an item of clothing from HCO results in direct advertising. This is notably achieved through the large embroidery or screenprint of the brand's name, hollister sale, initials,Hollister Clothing, fictional date of establishment and the flying seagull logo on the vast majority of their merchandise. The HCO-labeled shopping bag carried out of the store produces a similar effect. As a result, the company has not relied on media marketing to communicate its desired look and appeal. The brand's marketing images are sepia toned and modified in order to look somewhat faded; this is reminiscent of the grayscale marketing images used by the Abercrombie & Fitch brand. The sepia toned images provide HCO's campaigns with a vintage feel that is adequate to their fictional date of establishment,hollister2, and the lifestyle promoted by the brand.
