It looks that way based on the math and the latest canvassing board numbers.  This is the first time I am making the claim that Franken has won.  The inside numbers can be found here from the Minnesota Star Tribune.

Score one for the good guys.  This gives us 58 Democratic Senators, Joe Lieberman, and I think Obama will be able to work with the two Senators From Maine, and vulnerable Republicans up for reelection in 2010 to get whatever he wants to get done.

Most important issues are 1)  The Supreme Court  2) Middle Class Tax Reform/Progressive Taxation   3)  Abolishing NCLB's Teach to the test  4)  Tackling Global Warming effectively  5)  Reducing Deficits and Debts  6) Getting HMO Bureaucrats out of Health care  7)  Cleaning up Our Environment.

Give the man a chance.  I don't like Rick Warren but what he is doing is brilliant.  Obama opposes gay marriage as do I but here is what I do support --- civil unions and almost all the rights of marriage to GBLT couples.  Now that's 98% of what the GBLT community wants and you'll get it if you know how to play chess correctly.
