Jesus Is Not The Son of God

There may be a god, there may not be one.  But there is no son or daughter of god for these are fictitious creations.  All bibles are fiction, all religion is opinion.

People have a right to believe in Jesus, the Flying Spaghetti Monster, Zeus, ancient spirits, Allah, a Messiah, or whatever they want.  And I have the right to say, as do all others, that Jesus is not the son of god.

My assertions apply to any religious tome but since Christianity is the most practiced world religion, I'll focus on it.  Direct proof of the bible's fiction is rooted in Carbon 14 testing which shows the earth's creation to have existed far before the specific timeline in the bible which has a limited timeframe based on the number of generations from Adam down to Jesus and then adding 2000. (And assuming late in life pregnancies)  Further proof is shown by the disproving of the psalms which claim the earth to be flat.  It used to be the official position of Christianity that the world was flat and the center of the universe.

Of course if you read the bible literally it defies all logic as the book, if read literally can be used to justify rape, murder, slavery, and every evil imaginable.  Is it really a sin to wear a shirt that is half cotton, half rayon? Should a man who rapes a woman go to jail as I say or have the option to marry the girl as the bible says without penalty?  Should people who are gay or sexually promiscuous by their own choosing be stoned for death merely for either being who they are or who they choose?

What happens when people substitute a non living being or talltale of the past as the justification for who they are?  Some people may do good and Christianity is hardly monolithic for many Christians share my basic values while not sharing my basic tenets and that's kosher.  But I believe, when you are deceived into believing that something is a godly figure, that you increase the probability that you are headed down a path toward evil.  When you believe your own actions on earth are somehow justified in the name of a deity, you create a mental justification that all said acts are permissible.  By doing such, you eliminate that conscience barrier and if your intent is harm, you now have created the psychological conditions necessary to justify your own evil actions.

It is this psychological condition which explains why religious fundamentalists and right wingers of any religion have done more harm and committed more crimes on this earth than all other point of views.  It does not mean all religious right wingers are evil, it simply means they are more capable of evil.
