Give Obama's Cabinet A Chance

To the victors go the spoils.  There have been loud complaints in the blogosphere about Obama's early Cabinet selections.  Most notably, Robert Gates looks like a bad choice.  However, let's not jump down Obama's throat.  Let's be patient and wait and see how these picks pan out.

We just won a landslide election.  Will Obama govern as a centrist liberal?  I hope so.  Might he tack to the right of most Americans?  Also a possibility.  However, let's consider how well he ran his campaign, how superb his judgment has been thus far, and that he is seemingly a decent man.

In short, let's give him a chance.  Let's see how these appointments do.  If someone is not up to snuff, let's speak then.

Obama will do fine, despite what critics say. Gates' post is only for one year. Besides, the economy is more important and people's jobs.

Hannity will use every opportunity to destroy Obama every chance he gets. Don't let him. Hannity is the most dangerous man on the airwaves. Keep reminding people that Hannity is the one who brought down the Republican Party. He's a venomous snake to any candidate including John McCain.

Hannity is a sick man and extremely jealous of Obama's success. He should seek therapy for his mental illness.
